Summer evenings in Hazyview are the best. You just need to sit outside and enjoy the coolness of the bush creeping up to you, the last bird call before bed, and the evening sounds of insects and night animals around you.
The Boma, also known as a kraal, has a long history dating back to the pre-colonial Africa when the native groups such as the isiZulu and isiXhosa used wooden fences to enclose livestock and to fortify family homesteads, thus protecting them from wild animals.
Now we too have created this traditional feeling within our Lodge to continue to carry out the traditions of our African people.
The candle lit Boma, night stars and centred fire burning creates an atmosphere of cosy, intermate dining experience whilst enjoying our 3 course meal offered and sipping on local wines and beers. End off the evening by sipping on the famous Amarula Liquor as a night cap.

Feel at home in our small lounge & library near the reception area. A wonderful place to take time out, read a book and relax.
Enjoy a sundowner at the bar or have a glass of world famous South African wine while sitting next to the soothing water features.
